WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING
At age 15, my football playing son made varsity as a sophomore as kicker. He was also playing JV quarterback and linebacker. He thoroughly enjoyed the experience, but during the season he suffered a stress fracture in his back, and an avulsion hip fracture. He had been complaining of back pain in June prior to the season during weight lifting. We went to traditional PT and it seemed to get better. By the time the season started, he was doing well. However, not long after the season started he began complaining of pain again. He went back to PT at 6:30 am before school on game days. Finally, I took him to the orthopedic surgeon and he was diagnosed with a stress fracture at L5. He was out for the rest season. He was devastated. After healing and 6 more weeks of PT, he was back to training. Not long after, he was out playing soccer with friends and turned to make a cross, and he heard a “pop”. He couldn’t walk. This was only 1 week after he was cleared to train and play sports again. He now had to wait for another 6-8 weeks of healing. What a huge setback for a 15 year old athletic kid! The doctor said the 2 injuries were completely unrelated. I began to doubt that. So my son started seeing Nancy. I knew about Nancy and PRI, but didn’t really understand it. The outcome was amazing! Nancy assessed him and diagnosed him out of position. With some simple exercises he was back in position. For a 15 year old who is athletic and specializing in a football position like kicking, imagine how important alignment and position is to success and the mechanics of his body. Since seeing Nancy and a trainer who utilizes PRI, he has now been two years injury free. He does his exercises daily and can now tell when he is out of position. He was all conference, all metro, and all state kicker last year. The future is bright! Fingers crossed, he’s hopeful to play college football. Thanks, Nancy and PRI!

A special thank you to Nancy for helping through the painful times with my right knee!
All the exercises, including the breathing exercises, have helped my whole body feel better. The breathing exercises and the therapy you have given has also helped my asthma. It’s amazing how the exercises help when I can feel the pain starting.
Thank you for all your help!

I started going to see Nancy at Integrate 360 in mid-May of 2017 for a painful glut issue. I was 8 weeks away from a half-marathon that I wanted to run but at that point I could only walk. She assured me that she thought she could get me to the starting line. By doing simple breathing and posture exercises and foam rolling, she not only got me to the starting line, but I was able to run the half-marathon virtually pain free (not counting typical half-marathon pains). I was truly amazed and thankful. I would recommend Nancy to anyone who has pain anywhere in their body and she demonstrated to me how interconnected the muscles and joints in our bodies are.

My 12 year old son plays year round sports and had been going through awful heel and foot pain for about 6 months. He took several breaks a couple weeks at a time and would ice and stretch after practice and games. We went to see a podiatrist that said he had severs and he needed orthotics for his shoes. Still this did not help with his pain. We then decided to go to Nancy and so glad we did! She took the time to check his whole body movement and mechanics. She gave him exercises and found a shoe for him with the support and cushion he needed. He immediately felt a difference after doing the exercises along with the shoes she recommended. He was amazed at how great he felt and so happy to play without pain! As his parent, to see the pain and frustration gone away from him was such a relief! Nancy was the first one to be able to help and we are so grateful! Thank you Nancy!

I went to see Nancy based on a friend’s glowing recommendation of her. I was skeptical at first since I had already been to a chiropractor, an orthopedic doctor and 6 weeks of physical therapy and my pain was still present. She was so thorough and went beyond just the location of my pain to see how it all started. Her initial exam identified my issue(s) and we got to work. Her exercises and homework plan seemed strange at first but, wow, did they help! She has a complete understanding of how your body is all integrated and one little change can benefit the whole. It’s really quite amazing to watch her. Not only did she fix my pain, but I have an understanding of what was causing it and how to deal with it, if it comes back. I had taken 1 year off from running and basic exercise because my back would be in so much pain afterwards, but now I’ve been running again and doing exercise classes with no problem. If I feel the slightest bit of pain, I immediately resume Nancy’s suggested exercises, (even though I should probably always be doing them). I have been feeling so great and owe it all to Nancy!

Our 14 year old son was diagnosed with scoliosis and he received physical therapy through Integrate 360. I am so happy to report that his most recent X-ray shows over a 50% reduction in his curvature from PRI physical therapy alone! We knew we could see the difference, but it's even better to have confirmation from the X-ray. It's an amazing improvement and we are very thankful to Nancy for her expertise and guidance.

Nancy Hammond is the most effective and professional physical therapist. Pain relief has been immediate after seeing her and after just a few visits I have been pain free. She provides effective corrective exercises that have helped to prevent reoccurrence of injuries. She doesn't have her patients come in unnecessarily but provides therapy that minimizes the number of visits needed. I could not recommend her more highly!

Thank you Nancy for improving my health and life!
After years of back pain from a fall off of a horse in high school and then a snow boarder hitting me on the side of my hip as an adult, I had a constant pain in my lower back. Plus, I was tilting to the right. I had tried many therapists, chiropractors, exercises, and stretching, but the pain never totally went away. Then my house contractor recommended that I see Nancy Hammond. I am now pain free and can stand up straight which helps my core. Her technique is so relaxing and she zeroed in on the problems and how to adjust them. With very few appointments I am sleeping better, walking better, playing better tennis and golf. She is golden!

This is the best type of physical therapy program I've ever used because it doesn't focus on just a single part of your body. It integrates several body areas at the same time which is how our bodies are meant to act anyway. I started this as a conjunct treatment for my TMJ disorder. I am truly amazed at the difference I feel in several areas of pain I've had for many years.
Nancy does a thorough, total body evaluation before the start of any treatment. She sees you as a whole being, not a single body part as most therapists currently do. Not only is this innovative, I believe it is as it should always be done with health/body issues. You will not be disappointed if you come see Nancy.

I have been dealing with hip pain for years. Physical therapy and massage gave temporary relief, but I knew I had to find the root of my problem. Nancy was able to do that for me! Through a series of movement tests she was able to diagnose the imbalances in my body that were causing my hip pain. She then gave me exercises designed by the Postural Restoration Institute to correct the imbalances, therefore reducing the pain. I appreciate her teaching me ways to make myself feel better. I continue to do the PRI exercises to keep my body balanced and my hip pain-free. Nancy is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I am so glad I found Integrate 360!

I am sincere in my approbation for this wonderful, caring, and effective physical therapy clinic. This is by far the best program I’ve worked with and cannot provide enough positive commentary for Nancy.
I came to Integrate 360 with a mild scoliosis, difficulty breathing, TMJ, and the inability to do what I love most in life: run. This was after 3 previous failed attempts from a variety of other physical therapy clinics in alleviating my issues. Thankfully after working with Nancy, I finally found not only reprieve from my symptoms, but answers to my questions. She did a fantastic job in explaining any previous idiosyncrasies I felt, and took the extra time to ensure all of my questions were thoroughly answered. I may not be able to participate in a marathon anytime soon, but thanks to Nancy’s keen insight and instruction for the first time in over a year I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!
Anyone looking for assistance in injury prevention, rehabilitation, or help with continuous nagging injuries should without a doubt visit this clinic!

"In the summer of 2013, I was involved in a car accident that altered the mechanics of my body. I spent four months in Physical Therapy at an office that took me in circles and I never made any progress toward recovery. Doctors could not figure out why I was in so much pain and could not find the source. I then got referred to a PT clinic where Nancy Hammond became my Physical Therapist.
It was after spending one hour with her that my hopes to walk and run pain free again became no longer unattainable. She had done what no one had before, listened to my injuries and examined the mechanics of my body. Through physical therapy with Nancy, I was able to build strength in my body that I had before. She taught me the importance of good health, and how to retain body alignment continuing to do the things I wanted to do.
At the completion of my therapy I felt confident to hike Machu Picchu as a feat for what I had endured. Now two years later I can run again. It will take a bit of work to get to that point again where I am considered a runner but I have found myself living day to day with the tips Nancy has taught me to maintain my health and better my lifestyle."

"I was referred to Nancy Hammond and her knowledge with Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) to help dial in some of my movement patterns and relieve pain, so I could perform and train at an optimal level.
After a thorough analysis during my initial visit, Nancy developed a game plan to put me on the right track. Through the exercises and just a few follow up visits, I made great strides in getting my hips into a neutral position and learning how to properly use my diaphragm for breathing. I really liked her ability to communicate complex ideas into simple, easy to understand exercises.
I would highly recommend Nancy to anyone that is looking to improve their performance training, move better, or simply relieve pain."

"Having been a physically active person my entire life, at the age of 37, I decided to learn how to run. I thought my biggest challenge was learning how to breath while running, but 10 years later, I discovered after completing my first and only ever marathon, that I needed to learn how to exercise in proper supportive core position.
Under the care of another physical therapist, I trained and completed that marathon in 6:01:09 doing a planned run-walk routine. In the hours, days, and weeks that followed, I found that I had difficulty in walking, let alone running, and unbearable pain in my right knee, right hip, low back, and right shoulder. A running doctor friend suggested I try Postural Restoration Therapy, testifying that all physical therapy is not the same. I made an appointment with Nancy, and after the hour drive to St. Louis, my knee, hip, low back, and shoulder hurt so badly that I could not walk without excruciating pain. My very first appointment following my initial assessment, I walked out of Nancy's office nearly pain free.
When I began treatment with Nancy, I had been regularly using chiropractic care for 25 years, and massage therapy for 4 years. I ceased these alternative methods of treatment as they were not working for me, to allow Nancy's physical therapy to work to reposition my body. Under her expert care, I have become more pain free, stronger, and have been able to return to running.
Throughout my treatment with Nancy, she continues to assess my development and strength, adjusting my treatment plan and exercise routines to be responsive to my current needs. She teaches me exercises to alleviate specific pain and to accommodate particular situational needs.
Nancy has demonstrated that she is interested in me as a person. Her approach to treatment considers the complexity of the human body......it's about all the factors that impact the human body: exercise, stress, sleep, and emotional health.
Fifty is just around the corner for me. I had nearly resigned that I was getting too old to run, and that my body was just going to have pain. Under Nancy's care, I am back to running, riding my road bike, sailing, kayaking, hiking, and staying active with my four kids ages 6-22, and my significant friend. It is incredible to be able to sit for extended periods and be able to get up and walk without the previously anticipated pain in my knee, hip, low back, and shoulder.
Thank you, Nancy, for your exceptional care!"
